Last night I prepared a batch of patê fermenté and this morning I used it to make some fresh bread for breakfast. Kate helped with kneading and mixing and she made a snail bread for herself. When it was finally done, I thought it was not very good at all and was going to suggest something else for breakfast. Kate tried it and declared it to be very good! dad!
We sat down with some peach jam and finished all the bread.
What a difference it makes when someone in my life is positive and not so self critical. Freshly made bread, no matter what the quality usually is very very good. The first thing I did was to compare it to the bread I had in the best shops in Paris. While my little girl thought it was awesome! Thanks Kate!
