When the irrigation system in my San Francisco home was leaking (as seen in this video) my initial thoughts were to hire out and have someone else fix it for me.
But my tinkering brain wanted to try to fix it myself. The first problem was figuring out what the different parts of the irrigation system was called.
After unsuccessfully using bard.google.com’s image recognition feature, I decided to just do brute force search on Google Image search and found exactly what I was looking for on this webpage and this image. It’s a FHT filter!
From that point, I cleaned the filter and after watching a youtube video on why a valve would be leaking, I finally fixed the annoying leaking watering system for over 10 years.
